The Council speaks

It was hard for Belda to hide her feelings from the council. She was feeling a bit nervous.

"Nervous you feel?" Yoda asked.

Belda nodded. Then asked. "Am I in trouble again?"

Obi-Wan looked at Belda in surprise. Ce Ce raised an eyebrow as she waited for the council to reply.

"In trouble you are not." Yoda said with a sweet smile on his face.

“Youngling Belda,” Master Windu slowly started to say then looked at Ce Ce then Belda before asking “What makes you think your in trouble this time?”

"Because the only times we are called into the Council chambers is when we have done something to trouble the Force" Belda said softly.

"Trouble the force?" Master Luminara lightly said "Don't you mean when one has caused a disturbance in the force?" she asked Belda.

Belda nodded and looked back at Ce Ce Denowai. She began to tremble slightly.

Ce Ce saw that Belda was trembling before she turned her eyes to Master Yoda before say "If it would please the council, I'd like to talk to Belda alone before we go on." Ce Ce saw Master Yoda nod before she said "Thank you Masters." Then turning to Belda "Come with me, Belda."

Belda agree's to go with CeCe Denowai. Belda follows CeCe out of the main Chamber room into a more priviate room.

Ce Ce turned and looked at Belda "What has you so scared in there?" she lightly asked as she waited for answer.

The other night two Sith Females came into the Temple... and well Master Kenobi and Master Skywalker came in to stop them from taking me..." Belda said in a scared frightened voice.

"Are you alright?" Ce Ce worriedly asked.

"They came for me. They wanted me to follow them. If it hadent been for Master Kenobi or Master Skywalker, I probibly would have been taken?" Belda said with a wide eye'd expression. "I'm ok now though."

"Belda is there something your not telling me?" Ce Ce quietly asked.

Belda began to cry. "I think Master Kenobi and Master Skywalker weren't all to impressed with me."

"They are both part of the council but I'm sure they don't mean to make you feel less inportant." Ce Ce said as she waited for Belda to go on.

Belda covers her face in her little hands. Tears fall uncontrolabibly from her deep blue eyes.

"You have a great role to play in the order as does everyone else." Ce Ce lightly stated. "Please Belda there's no need for tears." Ce Ce said as she tried to calm Belda down.

Belda wipes her eyes with her sleaves. "I was for certian Master Kenobi was upset with me. I nearly began to accept the lies I was hearing from them. They kept telling me that the Jedi have been lieing to me..."

Belda knew Master CeCe Denowai was right. "Yes, Ma'am"

"You would make a Master very happy." Ce Ce said as she looked deeply into Belda's eyes.

"A Master, but I don't...." looked sad becuase she knew the truth she had no Master.

"I know you do not have a Master Belda." Ce Ce quietly said.

"I would like one, oneday. I know if I dont get one soon I'll be sent to the Jedi Corps. Thats where the send all the rejected padawans." Belda responded.

Ce Ce looked at Belda hard before saying "And just where did you hear that from?"

"I heard it from another one of my friends." Belda admitted.

"The Jedi Corps are just a place that padawans are placed without master but they still get training as a Jedi." Ce Ce lightly stated then added. "Besides I was trained by the Jedi Corps."

"You were?" Belda inquired. She did not want to be nosey because that was highly frounded upon.

"Yes, I was trained at the corps." Ce Ce lightly stated as she waited for Belda to go on.

"Oh." Was all Belda could say about the subject.

"Yes," Was all Ce Ce would say about the subject.

Belda smiled there was something she was beginning to like about Master CeCe Denowai.

Ce Ce smiled then said "There are other matters that we need to talk about."

"Yes? I am a good listener. so I have been told..." Belda said her deep blue eyes starting to twinkle.

Ce Ce smiled then placing her hand on Belda shoulder said "Many of the group Masters have said same. And so has a few even said that they would consider taking you as a padawan." Ce calmly said as she waited for Belda to respond.

"Really?, Take me as their Padawan?" Belda was taken a back at what Master CeCe was saying. Was this why she was being called into the Council Chambers? Was this the Day she would become a Padawan to a Master? Belda thought...

"Yes but not everyone can be a Master to one padawan, it's unheard of." Ce Ce lightly stated.

Belda wondered if Master CeCe had read her thoughts. "Unheard of?" Belda questioned because she truely didnt understand.

"Always two, no more no less." Ce Ce said then lightly added "But that only true when your not in the corps. Which you my young friend will not have to worry about."

Belda breathed a sigh of relief. She knew she was going to get a Master. "Master CeCe Denowai? I must know why I was asked to stay in the Council Chambers?"

Ce Ce smiled as she lightly stated "The council has agreed to allow me take on a padawan." She then stopped and smiled.

Belda did all she could do to keep herself from fainting. Her little hand went for the chair right next to her. She braced the back of the chair for balance and support. "Me, Take me? Oh I dont know what to say..."

"Calm yourself Belda," Ce Ce lightly said, then asked "You do want a Master correct?"

"Yes, Master CeCe, I do want a Master." Tears of joy filled her heart. She had never been so happy in all of her life.

Ce Ce nodded as she walked over, and knelt before Belda. "Listen to me closely Belda. I wish to be your Master but for us to be paired together we must go before the council to do this correctly. That is why you were asked to stay, and so you could choice if you did or didn't not want a me as a master." Ce Ce said lightly as she waited for Belda answer.

Belda nodded in aggreement. "Yes I want you as my Master, Master CeCe Denowai."

"Then we should do what is right then." Belda looked at the door and began to walk towards it.

"Well then," Ce Ce started to say when Master Yoda came in unannounced.

"Yes your right we should." Ce Ce said as she followed Belda to the door.

Belda looked at Master Yoda and wondered what he was going to say? "Hello there Master Yoda" She bowed politely.

"Hello Padawan Belda. Late am I?" Master Yoda asked Ce Ce.

Belda walked past Master Yoda and back into the Council Chambers where she been only several minutes ago. This time she was no longer nervous but excited.

Belda watched as Master Yoda went back to his chair. "Master CeCe, Begin you may."

Name: Belda Pinik

Age: 9 standard yrs old

Species: Human/reptilian (though she looks fully human)

Birth Planet: Ansion

Place of current residence: Coruscant Jedi Temple

Eye color: Deep Colbolt Blue

Hair: Long Curly Auburn, she usually wears her hair upand wears her padawan braid down.

Height: about 4 feet tall

Weight: 100lbs, 115 lbs with clothing

Clothing: Tunic is white. Robe is dark brown. She wears a long white skirt around the Temple and will at times wear the standard pants, white, while out and about. Boots are a dark tan.

Personality: Is shy and wide eye'd innocence gets her caught in some very strange situations. She believes everyone has good in them. Is a peaceful child.

History: She was brought to the Jedi Temple shortly after her birth. She's not all to sure who her real parents are. But is fully content to stay at the Jedi Temple to live out her life.

Lightsaber : will be Teal when compleated.

Languages: Belda is fluient in her Mother's native tounge but has never heard her Mother speak. She speaks Huttese, and the comon language spoken on Coruscant.

Education: Mostly at the Jedi Temple. She succeded well in Meditation and knowledge of the Force.

Intrests: She loves to experment with things. She is currious about how things work.

Something new maybe happening?

I saw Master Denowai in the garden. I called out to her and told her what Master Windu had told me to. Go get Master Denowai and tell her to report to the Council Chambers as soon as paoosible. When I was her there in the garden, something said that today something major in my life was going to change.

She placed her hands on my small shoulders "You have done well Youngling," She lightly stated "I see you becoming a great Jedi some day." as she took her hand off my shoulder and she looked deeply into my deep colbolt blue eyes before asking me "Now will you be so kind as to walk with me to the council chambers?"

She saw me as becoming a great Jedi some day? I thought.... "Yes Master Denowai I will walk with you to the Council chambers."I said with great enthusiam. I always loved any excuse to get to go to the Council Chambers. I thought to my self and I am guessing Master Denowai might have read my little mind. Master Denowai and I walked along the long hallways and up the stairs. Before we knew it we were there.

I followed right behind her into the Council Chambers. I saw Master Yoda who smiled right back at me. I adored Master Yoda and loved listening to him speak. Sitting right next to Master Yoda was Master Windu , I thought there was no wiser Jedi. I glanced over and I saw Master Kenobi, I loved how Master Kenobi always seemed to know what to do. Sitting next to Him was Master Anakin the Chosen One! To even be in His presance was the coolest thing. I then turned my attention back to Master Denowai and smiled. She smiled back at me. I then turned to leave when Kenobi spoke up. "Belda, we would like you to stay, please?" He said in a gentle voice.

Master Kenobi wanted me to stay? How cool is this? I thought. It's not everyday us younglings get to go into the Council Chambers. I looked at Master Denowai to see if it was ok and again she read my mind and nodded yes. So I responded "Yes I will stay, Master Kenobi." I stood there by Master Denowai.

Whats a Padawan like me to think?

Hello there, First I wanted to thank Dark Jedi Kriss for helping me with the links and graphics on my little blog. Thanks a bunches Kriss! Second I wanted to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for the holo's you have left me! That made my day to see all those happy holo's. Now that the thanks has been given I shall continue on with my blog for this week. I had made it to all my classes ontime this week without any delays.

Today I went to the cafateria and there on the tables were these delicous brownies! I didnt use any restraint, I went over and took one. That had to be the best brownie I have ever had. Thanks Qui-Gon Jin and JJ! Not to worry, there were plenty left the last time I was there.

While there I met Jaba and Barriss. Both were vert informative and we discussed many things. Like how fear, anger, and hate will lead you down the path to the dark side. From last weeks lecture we learned " A Jedi is to know no anger, nor fear, nor hatred." I am not sure I truelly get ti myself. If we are to not know these emotions, how will we learn to defeat them? I think I may have just confused myself again.

I also told her of the "evils" you know the whispers in the room when you know no one is there but you. I hear them asking me to join them on the dark side of the Force. She said that the "evils" are not just operating at nightime but the daytime and that we should be mindful of them. We went into deeped discussions about the "evils" and even discussed the Phantom evil that has came into my room. Although the idenity of this Phantom remains a mystery, I shall be more leary of Him! Whom ever he is.

Oh how I wish I had a Master to help explain all this stuff to me? Speaking of such... I also learned about this place called the Jedi Corps! It made me a little nervous! Although I know I really dont have anything to be concerned about. She mentioned how there were different Jedi Corps. This got me thinking "how's a padawan like myself gonna get herself a Master? Barriss then told me "You need not look, they'll find you." I sighed a sigh of relief.

Well thats what's been going on from a padawan's point of view....
